In the VERTICUS 5, the successful BAUER high-pressure compressor series combines compact design with high performance. Compatible with all common non-aggressive gases and gas mixtures, these proven compressors are predestined for virtually all applications.
The tailor-made B-CONTROL electronic control also supports extensive options for operating the high-pressure compressor units in this series as standalone units, combined with other units or on a higher-level network.

With their outstanding surface hardness, plasma-nitrided and plateau-honed cylinders are able to achieve extremely long service lives combined with low energy consumption and reliable oil lubrication of cylinder surfaces. Read more
Super-Silent cladding reduces the noise level of the compressor unit and enables an exhaust shaft to be used. For units in the VERTICUS 5 series, Super-Silent sound insulation can be retrofitted on request.

P 61 filter system
The units in the MINI-VERTICUS III and VERTICUS 5 series can be supplied with the P 61 treatment system integrated as an option. Clean air and gas qualities meeting the requirements of ISO 8573-1 (among others) can be achieved.
P 81 filter system
The units in the VERTICUS 5 series can be supplied with the P 81 treatment system integrated as an option. This system doubles the intervals for changing cartridges compared with the P 61 treatment system and meets the requirements of more far-reaching treatment standards.
B-SECURUS filter monitoring system
The B-SECURUS filter monitoring system monitors the saturation of the filter cartridge with moisture. Best possible use can be made of the cartridge at a guaranteed pressure dew-point of -20°C. Information is displayed via the B-CONTROL control display.
B-KOOL refrigeration dryer
The service life of a filter cartridge can be extended many times over with the B-KOOL refrigeration dryer. The compressed air is cooled to approx. +3°C in the compressor, so that the majority of the oil and water vapour condenses and is separated in the oil and water separator. As a result, less water vapour is able to get into the filter cartridge, so service life increases.
First stage separator
The installation of a separator after the first compressor stage is recommended for units operating in conditions where the moisture content of the ambient air is high (in tropical regions and for the effective compression of moist gases, for example). Read more
Intermediate pressure gauges
Analogue pressure gauges mounted on the compressor unit in a suitable location. They make it easy to check, diagnose and maintain the unit.
60-litre condensate vessel
The generous 60 l condensate collection system provides a central collection point for the condensate produced during the compression process inside the compressor. Read more
Two types of exhaust shaft are available for the installation of compressors in containers, housings or service rooms. Read more
The compressor and up to 2 storage bottles each with a geometric capacity of 50 or 80 litres are installed on the extended base frame, making this a turnkey system.
The intake system is needed to supply the compressor with air or gas at a suitable and monitored intake pressure. Read more
Intake pressure reduction
Intake pressure reduction ensures that the compressor takes in the gas at the appropriate pressure. Depending on the prevailing gas pressure and the intake pressure required, 1-stage or 2-stage intake pressure reduction is used. Integrated safety valves and pressure monitoring provide an effective means of ensuring that the permissible intake pressure is not exceeded or undershot.
Energy efficiency class IE3
On request, BAUER compressor units can be fitted ex works with energy-saving three-phase motors meeting the requirements of energy efficiency class IE3. As of 7.5 kW engine rating those motors are already standard scope of supply.
